1. About the service

local heroes is an online directory that connects homeowners and businesses with independent local professionals ("pros"). We do not provide the underlying trade or professional services ourselves, and we are not a party to any contract between you and a pro.

2. Quotes and enquiries

When you submit an enquiry, your details may be shared with relevant pros so they can respond with quotes. You are under no obligation to accept any quote. Any agreement, pricing, scheduling and payment is strictly between you and the pro.

3. Professional listings

Pros are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings, including qualifications, insurance, pricing and availability. While we aim to feature trusted local pros, we do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of any work carried out.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the site, submit false or misleading information, scrape content at scale, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

5. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, local heroes is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from work carried out by pros introduced through it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

6. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
